Hawaii Hotels – Ihilani Resort

Hawaii travel expert Veronica Hill visits the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa on Oahu in this episode of “Hawaii Travel Tips.”

Secluded on the quiet coast of the Ko Olina Resort, next door to Paradise Cove Luau (considered the best luau on Oahu), the Ihilani hotel boasts oversized guest suites and bathrooms, complete with their own sitting areas.

This luxury Oahu hotel is also conveniently located next to Ko Olina Marina, which offers regular sunset cruises and snorkeling sails, and the Ko Olina Golf Club, one of the best golf courses in Hawaii.

Ko Olina beach, with its three lagoons and jogging trail, is a lovely spot to spend the day. Its gentle waters make it ideal for children, swimming and snorkeling. There are also several great Ko Olina restaurants — including Roy’s (our personal favorite).

  1. Wow!! I am Japanese. I think so!! It's wonderful hotel.
I stayed here anytime 10 years ago. but I remember✨

  2. My daughter was born in Oahu, Hawaii and now she is already 11 years old! Hope to visit there in the near future to show her around how her birth place looks like…

  3. lovely place! very cool that you go to Hawaii too! our family goes there a lot. I have seen the 4 main islands but have not been to the area you show in this video. So far I think Kauai is my favorite. I like to get off the beaten track a bit and on our last visit to Maui and Big Island we rented houses for our family. It was much more relaxing than staying at a resort but I guess that all comes down to personal taste. We are starting to think about buying house somewhere in the islands…

  4. @HcoMonika There are TONS of great restaurants outside the resort! I really like Roy's, which isn't far from the hotel. We also like going to Hapa Grill in Kapolei. Zippy's and Julie'z are popular with the locals.

  5. heyy since there really arent all inclusive resorts in Hawaii, do u think its easy to find a good restaurant outside of the resort ?

  6. @pepsi1649 Book your tickets! Right now, summer might be expensive but there are some good fares for fall into Christmas. Hope you have a wonderful time!

  7. @eaglevp Thank you! We stay there almost every time we go to Oahu. Great place for kids and adults! We use the Canon HV30 and Final Cut editing suite. We also have Sennheiser wireless microphones. Hope this helps! Cheers, Veronica

  8. @ninocali1 Thank you so much. Your kind words are really appreciated. Hope you find time to visit there someday. It's paradise!
